Save the Date: Annual Crab Feed to Happen March 17
Grab your 2017 calendar right now. And mark March 17 for the 5th Annual “Krustaceans for Kids” Crab Feed.
The 2017 event will be the biggest and best ever, says Nancy Storm, co-president of the Friends of the Yolo Crisis Nursery. Her group organizes the fabulous event every year to benefit the Nursery.
What will make it the biggest and best ever? The new location: The Woodland Community and Senior Center, on East Street at the city’s southern edge.
If you attended the event in 2016, you know how crowded we were in the Davis Veterans Memorial Center. Elbow-to-elbow and almost no room to walk to the bar, which was in a separate building, by the way. We like the Vets Center, but our event has outgrown it.
At the new place, we’ll have room for 600 diners. So save the date and be ready to buy a ticket (or better yet, a sponsorship!) in January.
